Ride through the Foothills

This 54km ride is mix of flat PSP & urban roads on the outward journey and some small hills on the return route on semi-rural roads.
Meet at Cannington Station at 8:15am for an 8:30 start. We’ll follow the Armadale train line out to Kelmscott, taking a lap of the Champion Lakes Regatta centre before utilising the new Kelmscott rail underpass to cross the rail line and Albany highway. From here we’ll pick up Brookton highway off River Road and ride up the lower slopes to refuel at Avocado’s at around the 22km point. After our stop we’ll head for home along the foothills – running through the back blocks of Kelmscott, Gosnells, Maddington and Orange Grove before returning to Cannington via the Kenwick wetlands.
