***CANCELLED*** Skipping the Groove, with Allwen

In a demonstration of unbelievably tremendous will power, Allwen is going to attempt the impossible by climbing out of the deep rut groove that has been worn into the paths by countless generations of CTA riders heading to Lo Quay. Don’t worry, the ride is still heading to Lo Quay – just via a more direct route.
Even if she doesn’t succeed, this is sure to be a spectacle to be remembered forever. Or at least until the next ride to Lo Quay. Don’t allow yourself to become the one who missed it.

Start Time: ***CANCELLED due to forecast extreme heat***
Start Location: Narrows Bridge, southern end, west side. Off the path.
Description: Due to it being Christmas Eve and the potential for last minute shopping requirements this will be a shortened version of the normal Shelley foreshore ride starting at the toilet block by the Narrows bridge. We will travel along the freeway bike path, around the Shelley foreshore to Kent street weir and to Lo Quay for coffee. We will return to start through Manning and South Perth.
