Christmas is but a distant memory and the last of the turkey leftovers have finally been fed to the cat…  so it must be time to go looking for another duck.  And Scott of the Antarctic is your man when it comes to plucking ducks – provided he doesn’t get distracted by any penguins along the way.

Rumour has it that ‘optional’ swimming is on the agenda for after the ride if no ducks have been cornered on dry land by then.  It should be noted that although the swimming is officially classed as ‘optional’, the alternative is drowning.  Just saying.

Start Time:  Meet at 08:30 for an 08:45 start.  Park gates open at 08:30, so don’t be too early!

Start Location:  Lake Leschenaultia Park.

Travel along Great Eastern Hwy to old Northam road and turn left to Chidlow.  Through Chidlow to Rosedale road and follow down to the entrance of the park. Enter the park and turn right follow the road up to the car park on the western side of the lake we will meet there. The park gate does not open till 08.30 am. There are toilets at the car park.

Description:  There are easy and intermediate single track fun for everyone. Go at your own pace. We will travel some of the trails around the lake then hit the single tracks . Some of the tracks we will travel are Eastern Line, Hula, Towies, Stewies, Yeehaa, Snakes and Ladder, Woohoo plus lots more. It will be a warm day so bring your flippers and snorkel and bathers for a refreshing swim in the lake after the ride. (If you are game.) Coffee and cake at the lake cafe or Chidlow Cafe.
