Hills Meander- High Wycombe to Kelmscott (one way)

From High Wycombe ride up to Kalamunda via the Zig Zag, then assorted quiet back roads to Pickering Brook for coffee at Bean2Brook Then south through Korung National Park and Canning Mills Road for a long descent to Kelmscott. 7.45am for an 8.00am sharp start. Meet in the car park on the left cnr of Gilwell Ave and Page Rd across Albany Hwy from Kelmscott Train Station for registration and map/ride description. Please note it is best to park at Kelmscott Station due to parking restrictions at Gilwell. The course promises 5,000' of uphills and down dales around the Armadale & Roleystone area. We meet at Midland Station at 7.30 am for a one way trip to Gosnells. The route takes us via John Forest National Park, up the Zig Zag to Kalamunda, from there through the Bickley Valley and Pickering Brook to Gosnells. Slow slog to Kalamunda

Meet at Burswood Rotunda at 8:15 for an 8:30 departure south to Maddington. Then its over to Crystal Brook Road, 800 metres of climbing and across Lesmurdie Road to Kalamunda for coffee at Esthers. Down the Zig Zag, past the Zanthorrhoea nursery and home by Roe, Tonkin and Leach Highway bike paths. I haven't ridden since the OYB so this will be even slower than usual.

Hills of Perth Rejoice – River and Coast

Sunday September 4 @ 8:30am – 12:30pm Meet Narrows Bridge, south side, near the Toilet block at 8:30am. This ride will ascend many hills en route to the coast and back. Up Mount St into Kings Park with a loop around the park, Heart Attack hill in Mosman Park, many “upulations” going north along the coast and inland through Scarborough. Lunch at Embers
