Despite the title this will be a cycling tour, so leave your mini at home.  It will survive without you for a weekend.  In case there is any confusion, this is the on-road event along sealed roads and will be led by Rita.  It will be unsupported, meaning you are responsible for your own accommodation, food, luggage, coiffeur etc.  There is a separate and competing off-road event that will be led by Liz.  It is a popularity contest to settle a long-running dispute between the two leaders.  Let’s put this one to bed finally.

Start Location:  Midland Train Station

Description:

Day 1:  Midland Train Station  to Mundaring (via Kalamunda) 42 km

Day 2:  Mundaring to Northam 70 km

Day 3:  Northam to Mundaring 70 km

Day 4:  Mundaring to Midland Train Station 42 km (via Kalamunda) or direct to Midland Train Station (23 km)

There will be “some hills” along the way to Northam – but the ride back to Midland is predominantly down hill.

You have to book your accommodation in Mundaring (2×) and Northam (1×). Suggestions are at Travellers Rest in Mundaring and the Rec Hotel in Northam. There are limited additional accommodation options in both locations or you can choose to camp (Northam) – but these arrangements are your responsibility. This tour is unsupported.
