Start Time:  Meet at 08:15 for an 08:30 start.

Start Location:  Bayswater Train Station carpark on Railway Parade (opposite the Bayswater Hotel Restaurant). Toilets available at the train station.

Description:  Shake Off That Christmas in July Feast (Zone 2) Ride!

Join us for a post-Christmas in July cruise to burn off that festive feast – no pain, no climbs, just good company and great roads. That is right: zero hills, zero suffering, and 100% smooth sailing – traffic lights? Barely any. Think: flat, fast, and flowy. This is the perfect ride to save your legs and lungs for CTA Sunday’s hill loop.
We will roll along the million-dollar PSP, gliding through: Tonkin Hwy South → Roe Hwy South → Kwinana Fwy North → South Perth Foreshore.
Pace: Chill and steady (Nick promises he is riding at his Zone 2 effort, no hammering! – But can we trust him?)
Coffee stop: At ~51km in at Catalano’s, Vic Park, to refuel with something lighter than Christmas Pudding & brandy custard cream.
Feeling energetic? Feel free to lead a second group – we welcome all legs and lungs. Or just meet us at the coffee stop for the latest goss!
P.S. Yes yes, we know – the ride coordinator always reminds us about the sunrise time. So here is the obligatory mention: bring front and rear lights if you are worried about it being dark. But honestly… who even checks sunrise time? We are riding, not chasing vampires 🙂
