Mount up! It’s Time for Dinner in Parkerville with Cliff (and he’s OK)

Lights are compulsory, but a red uniform is optional on this ride into darkness with Cliff. The hot chips at the Parkerville Tavern will more than compensate for the drain on your headlight battery. There are plenty of other food options if the chips are not enough.
Due to the high cost of brake pads and rotors, it is possible that the ride leader may achieve a ‘moderately brisk’ pace on the downhill return leg. However the route is direct and there will be a tail-end rider to sweep up any strays so just go at your own pace.
Sunrise predicted to be at 06:54 and sunset at 17:32. Moon phase is waxing crescent, so there will be no risk from werewolves but you will seriously need a good headlight.
Start Time: Meet at 5:00 pm for 5:15 pm depart.
Start Location: Midland Train Station, north side between the parking ticket machine and the bus station.
Description: Weave around Midland until we find the compacted gravel of the Heritage Rail Trail, then straight up the gentle incline to Parkerville. Back by the same route. There are no street lights on the gravel section. Did we mention the need for front and rear lights?
