Low Key Ride to Lo Quay, Led by Allwen
Wednesday May 15, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Redoubtable Allwen has spent weeks developing an all-new route to Lo Quay! Come and discover the secret byways, heretofore known only to residents from south of the river. Oops, wrong description – it’s the reassuringly familiar Allwen Route again, although there is the chance of a surprise if her Garmin has its way.
Sunrise at 06:58 – that’s nearly 07:00!
Start Time: Meet at 08:00 for 08:15 depart.
Start Location: Narrows Bridge, south side, general vicinity of toilet block
Description: Starting from Narrows bridge we will ride along PSP to Riverton Drive, through Shelley and Riverton past Kent Street Weir and onto Lo Quay Cafe for coffee.
If we’re in luck, Rita and/ or Cliff may appear to honour the winners of the CTA 50th Anniversary Tour ‘Most Useful Roadside Object’ and ‘Most Useless Roadside Object’ competitions. An event that gives the lesser-known Met Gala a run for its money.
Our journey home will be along the north side of the Canning river and through the backstreets of Manning, Como and South Perth back to the Narrows.
