The Ride that Counts
Tuesday March 4 @ 7:00 am - 9:30 pm
Even if you only join one ride this year, make it count by doing the internationally famous Super Tuesday Bike Count circuit. See how many CTA volunteer bike monitors we can spot on this short but statistically significant route.
Sunrise at 06:08
Start Time: Meet at 07:00 for a 07:15 start.
Start Location: The Reserve formerly known as Banks, riverside BBQ area under the shade of a spreading Moreton Bay fig at a discreet distance from the toilet block.
Description: We’re heading west, skirting the city towards Floreat, then doubling back past Herdsman Lake and home via Leederville. The counting’s all over by 09:00 so we won’t be stopping for coffee.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: If anybody feels more inclined to stand and natter for a couple of hours, bike monitor Yew Li would appreciate some assistance to distinguish between different varieties of bike and to spot rider gendership. She will be located at the Banks Reserve start location throughout.
