Night Ride: The Peace Treaty Ride
Thursday December 13, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Meet at the Loftus Community Centre, Leederville or the Raffles Hotel, Canning Bridge. After many years of negotiations the North of the River Night Riders Cycling Club and the South of the River Night Riders Cycling Club have finalized a venue that will be suitable to both parties to hopefully thrash out a long overdue Peace Treaty between the two clubs. The venue chosen is the new Camfield Restaurant, near Optus Stadium, which is able to provide security in case of an escalation of unruly behaviour experienced at previous meetings. The route of both rides to the venue will remain secret to avoid any collusion from parties that have an vested interest in the failure of the Peace Treaty. Hopefully, if the Peace Treaty is signed, those attending this historic occasion will partake in a feast of their choosing. Those riders, who are not over the limit, will return to the Narrows Bridge where the members of the new united “Perth Night Riders Cycling Club” will return to their starting location. Must have good working front and rear lights.
