Follow Greg To Deepwater Point the Long Way Round

There is a rumour circulating that a secret cabal of mountain-bred Kiwis has infiltrated the club with the purpose of leading every ride. Why? Two reasons: they get to lead hilly rides and they get to enjoy all the benefits of the Ride Leader Reward meal. To stop this dastardly plan we need a more multinational pool of ride leaders, so step forward now and put an end to this nonsense.
Today’s ride is led by Greg the Kiwi.
Start Time: Meet at 08:15 for 08:30 depart.
Start Location: Narrows Bridge, south side near the toilet block.
Description: Follow the south side of the river (that’s what it says in my notes – but don’t be surprised if you end up on the north side) skirting dangerously close to the water, then cross the bridge at Freo. We will stop at the corner of Riverside Rd and Pier St, where the sheep will be separated from the goats as you choose either to travel on the hell of the flat beside the river or to ride up the hill to the heaven of Pier St. You will be judged. Whether you take the low road or the high road, we will meet again at Dôme Deepwater Point for coffee before returning rudderless to the start.
