Bibbulmun Track Northern Terminus, Kalamunda, Australia

We meet in Kalamunda at the start of the Bibbulmun at 7am for a round of single tracks to Pickering Brook and beyond. There will be two groups, a faster and a slower one. Ride leader Liz 0423207258

Waterfalls and Wildflowers to Lake Leschenaultia

From the carpark on the corner of Morrison and Peachy Roads we follow the Heritage Rail Trail (gravel) through the John Forrest NP where we’ll pass waterfalls and wildflowers. After passing Lake Leschenaultia we stop for coffee at The Bay Tree Café in Chidlow then it’s mostly a gentle descent back.

Distance: ~30km: Leisurely 15-20km/h, mountain and touring bikes - Mostly a gentle incline on gravel track. Meet at the Midland Train Station at 9am to ride up the Heritage and Kep Trail to Chidlow Tavern for the CTAWA Christmas Lunch. Return ride after lunch. Mostly a gentle incline on quality gravel track, moderate 15-20 kph. Organisers: Randell

This is a challenging section of the Munda Biddi, with switchbacks and rocky sections but the wildflowers will be out and the gorgeous scenery will make it all worthwhile. Note that this ride starts on Friday. Contact me for details if you are interested  sarcutts@iinet.net.au

Moonlight Madness Heritage Trail Time 5pm-1030 pm 45km pace leisurely Meet at Midland Station for the annual Moonlight ride up the Heritage Trail. It’s on gravel/dirt so you will need off road tires and good lights. Let me know if you are coming  and so I can book dinner for those who are interested.
